What’s next after the announcement of the National Development Concept 2050?

For us at 4CF The Futures Literacy Company, this is a special moment – we had the honor of co-creating key elements of the Concept, including: developing the scenario-building methodology, preparing four future scenarios for Poland up to 2050, and providing expert analyses that will serve as the foundation for future public policies.
This is an important step in developing long-term strategic thinking about the future of our country. We are proud to have contributed our part. Now we look forward to the next stages – implementing the recommendations and further developing foresight in the strategic planning of Poland’s future.
In what international environment will Poland function in 2050?
This is a crucial question for development policy planning, and there is no single answer – that is why the National Development Concept 2050, which we co-created at 4CF The Futures Literacy Company, presents four future scenarios for Poland:
- Poland in a world of continued globalization
- Poland in a world of intense technologization and gradual social atomization
- Poland in a world of disrupted supply chains and shortages
- Poland in a world of drastic technological and economic disparities
By analyzing these different variants, we are building the foundation for public policies that will be resilient and prepared for various possible challenges.
