The Impact of Technology on Employees’ Mental Health

As part of the latest Academy of Future Leaders session, Dr. Anna Sacio-Szymańska from 4CF The Futures Literacy Company, at the invitation of Dr. Anna Kieszkowska-Grudny, explored one of the key challenges of today’s work environment – the impact of technology on employees’ mental health.

“What a brainstorming session! Together, we discussed what the job market in Poland might look like in 2050. We developed multiple future projections, including:

  • Technology supports employees’ well-being in every workplace.
  • Guaranteed income ensures a decent standard of living.
  • The labor market moves away from permanent employment.
  • Migration in Poland becomes a marginal phenomenon.
  • A robot as a boss? A new work reality…

Then, we mixed them up! There were even more projections and potential future scenarios. The goal of our analysis was to identify the challenges and opportunities that the future holds so that we can start incorporating them into today’s plans and strategies.

What about you? What would you bring back from the future, and what would you rather avoid? And why?” – said Dr. Sacio-Szymańska.
