4CF The Futures Literacy Company is part of a project under the Foresight on Demand framework: “Synthetic Drugs 2050: Increasing EU Resilience”. Together with our partners — 4strat, RAND Europe, Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku – FFRC, AIT Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) — we are conducting a comprehensive foresight study on the future availability and use of synthetic drugs in Europe by 2050.
What’s the goal?
- Conducting Horizon Scanning to collect and analyse emerging trends and weak signals of change in synthetic drugs area
- Developing scenarios of synthetic drugs diffusion in Europe
- Formulating policy, research and practice recommendations
- Anticipating long-term health & public safety implications
- Identifying potential societal, economic, and technological impacts
- Engaging key stakeholders to enhance strategic responses
