Mind the Missions workshop in Spain
Mind the Missions workshop in Spain
We’re thrilled to announce that the Erasmus+ project Mind the Missions is making great strides in the field of sustainable transitions and fostering futures literacy skills! This week two-days future-proofing workshop took place in the beautiful city of Valencia.
We discovered that even though some of our participants were not overly optimistic about the future, they were all convinced that they can make a big difference! And this is awesome! It confirms our belief that cities can play a valuable role in transitions, particularly when they have enthusiastic and committed people in their teams, as is the case of Câmara Municipal de Amarante and Ajuntament de València.
We also drove deeper, connecting long-term vision with moonshot projects that will help us achieve our project goals. In this context, strategic foresight proved to be a powerful intellectual and creative exercise that challenged long-held beliefs and helped the workshop participants to flex their imagination, being better prepared for the future.
By embracing uncertainty, we proactively practised designing more resilient strategies, testing pathways against different scenarios and creating a more robust approach to long-term planning.
In our project Knowledge Transfer lies at the heart of our collaboration. It was not only the municipalities that were learning, but all the project partners, including INOVA+, Geodesign Hub, Low Carbon Economy Foundation and Always Greener. We want to share our results and lessons learned broadly, so be sure to stay tuned for updates on this exciting journey we are embarking on the Mind the Missions project!
You can find out more about the project on the project’s website.
