Manufacturing as a Service for the EU’s Twin Transition until 2040 (MASTT2040)
Project Objective
The goal of MASTT2040 is to redefine the future of European manufacturing through the adoption of strategic foresight methodologies. Aiming for a twin, digital and ecological transition, the project integrates Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) and Circular Economy (CE) principles to revolutionize industrial practices, promoting sustainability and adaptability. Through a collaborative approach, MASTT2040 brings together experts and visionaries to develop a strategic map and action plan, aiming for a sustainable, efficient and forward-looking manufacturing sector.
4CF’s Role
As a partner, 4CF will lead tasks related to trend analysis, prioritization as well as scenario development and sense-making enhancing foresight capabilities of stakeholders via innovative, interactive and creativity-based foresight tools that have already been applied in Industry 4.0 domain: 4CF HalnyX (online consultation platform), 4CF PnyX (online brainstorming tool for in-depth analysis of trends, for the identification of weak signals and disruptors). 4CF is leading WP2 and significantly contributes to WP1, while being engaged in the remaining WPs to a lesser extent.
