INSUMMIT 2024

INSUMMIT 2024

For two days, PGE Narodowy Stadium transformed into a true melting pot of innovation and inspiration. Participants, ranging from research company representatives and scientists to designers, marketers, creators, and leaders from the cultural and business sectors, shared their passion and intellectual curiosity. Our colleague, Katarzyna Figiel, a foresight specialist, had the pleasure of being part of this vibrant community, seeking inspiration for projects we’re developing at 4CF The Futures Literacy Company.

INSUMMIT serves as a platform for dialogue, where the freshest insights meet the real-world challenges of our times. People, society, and the market — these three areas intertwine and drive innovation forward. Here, change is analysed not only from a technological perspective but, more importantly, through the lens of understanding human needs, values, and relationships. It’s a space where established knowledge and bold ideas become the foundation for a new reality.

“When we begin to see the future not just as something that will happen, but as something we can actively shape today, we open the door to limitless possibilities and innovation. Understanding the future as a tool for change is key to transforming both business and society,” said Katarzyna Figiel ahead of INSUMMIT.

What stood out to her:

  • The conference revolved around merging business efficiency with social responsibility. Well-being appeared in various contexts, including as a crucial element in building responsible workplaces.
  • A presentation on parental burnout highlighted how significant this issue is, both globally and in our local context (important research from Ipsos on the situation in Poland). Another topic was the increasing number of caregivers, driven by demographic shifts and ageing societies (important work by the Nutricia Foundation to raise awareness of the issue). It’s a critical time to reflect on how governments, companies, and we, as individuals, can support those facing these challenges in their lives.
  • A highly valuable session was led by Magdalena Tędziagolska and Konrad Siwiński on the future of education. During the open session, experts discussed how to address the challenges facing modern schools — from global crises and technological change to mental health issues among students.
  • New technologies, like AI, are reshaping many industries, including market research. We must be ready for these changes and harness their potential.
  • Designing cities and spaces with all residents in mind, regardless of age or ability, is essential for building an inclusive future (an inspiring talk by Agnieszka Labus).

INSUMMIT 2024 was not only a source of knowledge but also a spark for action. Now it’s time to turn these ideas into reality!
