How can we inspire the rest of the world to renew democracy for the 21st century?
The three days long conference “Future of Democracy” starting today in Reykjavik, Iceland, will try to co-create concrete measures to ensure that democratic values are used to tackle global challenges, and will propose discussions, workshops, do-shops and talks to develop specific concrete solutions and ideas to speed up processes for citizen participation, enthusiastic youth engagement and group-action.
During the conference, on Friday, 23 of February, Bartosz Frąckowiak and Michał Nadziak of 4CF The Futures Literacy Company will lead a workshop aiming to map areas of possible research activities related to the futures of democracies.
The future of democracy conference is co-organized by Chairs of the Iceland, Denmark, and Finland Nodes of The Millennium Project.
