Halving food waste by 2030
4CF carried out a Delphi Study on the possibility of halving the scale of food waste by 2030 — in accordance with a resolution issued by the European Parliament, which applies to all Member States. The study was an element of the PROM project and was commissioned by the Federation of Polish Food Banks.
Study participants included representatives of the Ministry of Climate and the Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Polish Federation of Food Producers, the Polish Organisation of Trade and Distribution, the Consumer Federation, the Federation of Polish Food Banks, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and independent experts.
