Hack & Match on Artificial Intelligence

Hack & Match on Artificial Intelligence

Two days of high-impact co-creation at the second Hack & Match on Artificial Intelligence for the Digital & Physical Worlds, promoted by Project IDEALIST, brought together challenge owners and brilliant solution providers to tackle real industrial problems, and deliver smart, scalable answers.

From mobility accessibility to AI for circular plastics, five real-world industrial challenges were met with innovation and technical expertise, proving the power of collaborative problem-solving across borders and sectors.

The creativity, technical skill, and agility of the solution providers turned complex challenges into actionable prototypes and concrete AI applications.

The industrial challenges tackled:

  • Accessible Mobility – Enhancing independence for the visually impaired in transport hubs (Lead Design Organisation – LDO )
  • AI-Enhanced CompositeManufacturing – Supervision systems for infusion processes (LOIRETECH INGENIERIE)
  • AI for SME Growth – Supporting consultancy and automation (Talent Center International s.r.o.)
  • Digitizing Railway Documentation – Turning legacy schematics into usable DWG files (Te.Si.Fer. Srl)
  • AI for Circular Plastics – Rethinking sustainable packaging (GAINOPLAST)

The solution providers who made innovation happen are:

  • Rafael Delgrado – DTec Biometriaía
  • Borut Terpinc – Kalmia
  • Sophie Mahé & Ronan LE GOFF – IPC Centre Technique Industriel de la Plasturgie et des Composites
  • Daniel González Vidal & Circe Serra Vallmitjana – Centre Tecnològic de la Química a Catalunya
  • Matthias Merzkirch – University of Augsburg

Huge thanks to the challenge owners and all participants for driving forward AI-powered innovation. Your collaboration is paving the way for smarter industry solutions across Europe.
