Food system transition Geek4Food
We are proud to be a part of the Geek4Food project, supported by the European Commission and Erasmus+, to advance the food system transition towards sustainable and green solutions. 4CF’s experience in strategic foresight will play an integral role in helping to create a cross-sector framework promoting the development of green and entrepreneurial skills for both current and future learners of the agri-food sector.
GEEK4Food (G4F) is a partnership of 10 European organisations coordinated by Università degli Studi di Teramo and EIT Food and supported by the Erasmus+ Forward-Looking programme (project n.: 101087203).
Here are some of the approaches we’re using:
- Developing an AI-based tool to forecast and determine green skills and capability needs.
- Implementing cross-sectoral training programmes for graduates and food professionals to enhance green skills.
- Providing entrepreneurial education to promote green skills and associated technological scale-up.
- Creating an interactive virtual platform called the 3P-GEEK4Food Hub, which merges learners’ needs with training offers and agri-food #job opportunities.
