The EU is accelerating change toward a more sustainable and digital future. The key question, however, is how fair these changes are. Who benefits, and who might be left behind? As part of the READJUST project (in which 4CF is a partner), a team from the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI analyzed how EU policies affect the “twin transition”: which actions and instruments matter most, how they address (or overlook) inequalities, and what barriers hinder their effective implementation.
