Scenarios Development Workshop in Lisbon
Scenarios Development Workshop in Lisbon

This week our team Anna Sacio-Szymańska, and Marcin Wierzbowski led an inspiring Scenarios Development Workshop in Lisbon, as part of the Synthetic Drugs 2050 project, alongside leading experts to explore four distinct futures for synthetic drugs in Europe — shaped by innovation, environmental change, and evolving social attitudes. These scenarios aren’t predictions, but powerful tools to challenge assumptions and guide resilient, forward-looking drug policy.
“What a pleasure and privilege it was to co-facilitate the scenario development workshop for EUDA this week in Lisbon! Working with experienced Foresighters Anna, Mikkel, and Kaisa-Maria, building on Bartosz’s excellent work, and alongside an incredible group of experts from the field, we explored four potential futures for synthetic drugs in Europe.” – said Marcin Wierzbowski of 4CF.
Thank you to all our partners working for European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA): Finland Futures Research Centre (FFRC) – Tulevaisuuden tutkimuskeskus, RAND Europe and 4strat.
