University of Gdańsk Library, with the participation of Kacper Nosarzewski from 4CF The Futures Literacy Company. The initiative, carried out within the framework of the UG Center for Sustainable Development, brings together academic communities, artistic organizations, and NGOs, focusing on exploring new scenarios for life on Earth in the face of 21st-century challenges. The program coordinator is Dr. Irena Chawrilska.
The symposium gathered a diverse group of participants, including students, faculty members, and individuals interested in the subject. The event was moderated by Dr. Weronika Metlenga from the Department of American Studies at the UG Faculty of Philology. The keynote lectures were delivered by Professor Alex Taek Gwang Lee, founder of the Centre for Technology in Humanities at Kyung Hee University, and Rick Dolphijn, professor of media & culture studies and founder of the More-than-Human Studies Lab at Utrecht University.
