Scenarios of Poland’s Development
Karol Wasilewski and Kacper Nosarzewski of 4CF The Futures Literacy Company will present the Polish National Development Concept 2050 (KRK 2050) at the OECD Government Foresight Community Virtual Day on 25 April.
During the presentation, they will delve into the research and analytical processes that were employed in crafting the National Development Concept 2050 – Poland’s first strategic document with such a long time horizon. They will particularly focus on the scenario development phase – a process facilitated by the 4CF – explaining the rationale and methodology underpinning the incorporation of scenario-building exercises, elucidating their pivotal role in shaping subsequent strategic endeavours. Furthermore, they will candidly discuss the significant challenges confronted in applying strategic foresight methodologies and fostering long-term perspectives within the realm of public policy formulation.
