What are the forecasts and expectations regarding grain transport from Ukraine?
Ukraine has managed to harvest a relatively large amount of grain, but in addition to the cultivation and harvesting of the crop itself, exports remain a significant problem. In July, Ukrainian farmers will harvest this year’s wheat, but they may run out of storage space. Exports will continue to be difficult. Before the war, transport was mainly by sea. Today this is very dangerous. Ukrainian seaports are blocked, there are mines in the Black Sea and there are military operations in its waters.
