Kacper Nosarzewski at the European Economic Congress
This year’s edition of the European Economic Congress in Katowice focused on sustainable development, ESG, as well as the green and digital transformation. The resulting changes for business and the public sector were a recurrent theme of many debates, panels and talks. 4CF could not miss such an event because we prepare our clients for the emerging changes and help them stay ahead of trends by supporting strategy development and investment decisions. Watch our video summary of the congress!
“By 2050, we can count on real breakthroughs in urban construction, such as buildings integrating multiple renewable energy systems and bionic building materials; we can expect major changes in the way we use buildings and in their functions. Nonetheless, 95% of today’s buildings will still be standing, and a significant number will have received no technical upgrades. Therefore, to secure an optimistic future, we should ensure that each new construction project adheres to restrictive technical and spatial regulations. So many properties require revitalisation that we cannot afford cheap investments at the expense of the common good.” – an opinion expressed during the New European Bauhaus panel, attended by 4CF’s Kacper Nosarzewski.
“ESG is a wave of changes that cannot be circumvented. In the next 10-15 years, there will be no place for products – including those in the food sector – manufactured without regard for human and environmental rights in Poland.” – stated Kacper Nosarzewski during the Food industry on the path of sustainable development” panel at the European Economic Congress.
