4CF The Futures Literacy Company’s will speak at the UNESCO-PMU Symposium 2023: Towards Evaluation Frameworks for Futures and Foresight. Norbert Kołos, the Managing Partner of 4CF will present “Survey for Anticipatory Stance Evolution” during the Symposium taking place on 21-22 June 2023 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.
The UNESCO-Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU) Symposium 2023 will address the need to better understand and use futures literacy and foresight, by focusing on assessment and evaluation frameworks for the impact of futures work.
Out of over 70 submissions received from across the globe, 15 selected experts will showcase their work in a series of 5 exciting panels discussions. Sharing their experiences as practitioners in the field, the speakers will be reflecting on the following guiding questions:
- What tools and models are already at our disposal for effective evaluation of futures and foresight activities?
- What kind of new frameworks and methods can be established?
- How to evaluate the change in perceptions about the future and the emergence of new paradigms?
- What are appropriate scales and time horizons for the evaluation of social transformations through futures thinking?
- How does context influence the framework that is used?
